Carmel’s progress continued with another invitation to perform with The Chieftains in Belfast.
Carmel performed on the opening night of The Belfast Festival at Queens in front of 3,000 people, and wowed the audience with some well-known Irish songs such as The Foggy Dew as well as a couple of her own, including Mallarme’s Fan, a song from her upcoming album (scheduled for recording in January 2008).
